I think the right way to do a booklet dice table would be to have a whole bunch of pages, not just 8 or whatever they used. Then you could even have every page have entries for e.g. 3d6. Of course at that point you're up to hundreds of pages, so maybe it's not for most pockets anymore.
When my friends and I were doing some RPG meetups about a year ago I evaluated a few dice rollers for Android, and found one good enough, but I also immediately ordered physical dice online. Being able to move them around and group them and such adds a lot of value. And not having to use the attention-sucking device adds immense value. -

I've got AriaDice and True Random Generator on my phone and rolldice on my boxen. They're only for when physical dice are unavailable. Hallå Kitteh likes this.
