RIP Brad Crelia, my friend:
I had mentioned I was working with a friend to revive a progressive newspaper here in Spokane. His father had published the first one, and now Brad was going to bring it back as an online weekly. I was helping with the server, and also was going to find articles from the original to showcase in each issue of the new The Local Planet.

Unfortunately, Brad passed away suddenly last night at the age of 29 from complications related to HIV and Porphyria http://ur1.ca/iu4bo He had lost his mother to Porphyria when he was young. Later he overcame drug addictions and being a domestic abuse survivor to publish an online Magazine Hivster, he became involved in politics and was laying the groundwork for a run for a city council seat here in Spokane with the backing of the Victory Fund.
