@kyzh "abated" in that context most likely means the anarchists have driven away hard/problematic drugs use (violence, needles thrown in stairwell etc), but tolerated soft drugs/non problematic use and/or those just quietly dealing with their habits but not robbing anyone. it would be hard for an anarchist to justify any other attitude to drugs TBH

This is of course too much for "just say no" mainstream media to accept as a 100% positive outcome
