   @rugk Because GNUsocial, Diaspora and Mastodon use the same distribution method and should reasonably just be discoverable from the URL in the website tag? .)

     @rugk I saw that, but it's sad that compatible, federating social networks differentiate like that.
     
     Kind of like "YEAH I ALWAYS TAKE MY SHIMANO GEARED CRESCENT TO WORK" (instead of "bicycle to work"). I hate trademarks and the like.
