There is a small demand for my personal 3dsmax plugins that I've developed over time.
I'm considering milking that cow, and make all my personal projects in a working state, then sell them. Not the code, but the compiled plugins.
It's a bit against my principles, since I switched to Blender only (and do not want to use windows \ proprietary software), but I'm damn good at 3dsmax plugin development, and I have some unique tools that I've made, and if people want to buy it then maybe I should do just that.
Then put that money aside for something I want later on. Not saying I'll be a millionaire or anything like that, but a couple of $ extra here and there is nice to have.
I'll think about it a bit.

@stigatle Get compensated for your time, skill, and hard work? Unthinkable!
I'd say your principle isn't that you use FOSS, rather the reason(s) for that choice. If you're running it because of things like cost, security, hackability, then there's no conflict.
If you think it's Evil to charge for software, like some nutbags do, then it's an immoral choice.

I see your point, and I agree with you on that.
I have decided to resume development on the things I have, put the software up, if people buy it - then great, if not at least I get to develop things further.
