@shpuld @hakui @lain If you read and listen at the same time, which one would take over, usually?
For me, even if the audio is really interesting, once I read, the audio fades from attention.

@headcrack "Dissociation" sounds so scary. I prefer "flow". But what I'm talking about here is really just your pedestrian focus.
But then these people go and tell me that dissociation and flow are two different things and may even counteract each other.

@headcrack Oh, I didn't read it that deep, I was just quickly looking if people equate these to things and discovered that these authors certainly don't.
A less physical aspect would be interesting to see an experiment with too, and your personal view on it is interesting. As for myself, I can definitely zone out even with physical feedback present, like when I'm walking and listening to a podcast.
