   My favorite Le Carre Novels:
   One of the joys of reading John Le Carre in general, and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy in particular, is that his writing isn’t just great thriller writing, it’s great literature. That said, he has produced some work that seems ‘phoned in.’
   
   Here is my guide to the best of his work — it’s still relevant, it’s well written, the characters fit you like an old suit.
