@hakui @liate What you speak at home is your first language. What you speak in school is your second language. I don't think there's any support for the idea that what you speak at home doesn't count.
As for native Esperanto speakers, Soros is the prominent one, but according to one of the comments on this Soros article, there's more, even though the comment is pretty vague on how many:

@lnxw48a1 In the field of teaching languages, there is only "first language", "second language" and "foreign language". In this classification, the people you are talking about have two first languages, and the school language is their second language.
