   @cassolotl seems like when it comes up ppl raise the following points:

   1) there are some abuse concerns around account deletion

   2) there's no way to export your toots

   3) deleting a toot sends a notification to every instance that is subscribed to the toot's author, which isn't necessarily all the places the toot ended up

   and none are really clearly resolved

   so as worthy as it is it's hard to make account deletion a priority you know?

   at least that's my perspective

     @cassolotl "controlling your data" cannot really mean "retroactively control who copied it", so anyone using that term needs to invent their own definition that is even theoretically possible to implement.
