#puppet, #chef, or #ansible? Puppet has their own repos for #CentOS 6 and 7. Ansible is already in 7. Chef is in neither by default, so it seems like chef is out. I already installed puppet on a couple, else chef might be better. Would be nice if the repos were the same and it could just detact your version. Maybe #DNF does this? I haven't touched #Fedora in like 7 years until today, not that I did much with it.

@lnxw48a1 puppet has an agent. All I really want to do is make sure all of my VMs have yum-cron turn on (not just installed). I looked into puppet and chef when I was at epic but I ended up writing my own install script because I needed full disk encryption and really what I needed was an installer not a maintainer. I looked into spacewalk and canonical's paid deployment system but they didn't do what I needed or at least couldn't figure out how to do it. The other thing I'd like to do is shutdown all my VMs at once though I wonder if there's a way to do this from vsphere. I haven't looked into that.
