   People like to shit all over Wine for various reasons, but all I care about is that the gold and platinum rated list of games on WineHQ keeps getting longer and longer. Yeah, native is better, but a lot of these games will never get properly ported.

     @clacke Basically they fall into two groups. Either it's the ones who get pissy about it not being "native" and Stallmanist types. I do have more sympathy for the later, but then that may be because a lot of the morons in the former group think Feral, Aspyr and Valve ports are native.

     @clacke And really if it were not for the overhead of translating DX to OpenGL, you'd never be able to tell if a game were native or not while playing it.
