     @pettter Any software context where something needs to be built. Every person means something different by the scope and competence of a "build system", from make to npm to Gradle and beyond.
     
     And that's not even counting the meta-buildsystems.

     @pettter Context is not super important though. This is really just a narrower form of the generic trope "What the hell do you mean by 'Germany'?", where the thing is that various departments say "We want a report xyz when a product is a Germany product", but they all mean different properties when they say "is a" and different objects when they say "Germany". The German sales-subsidiary/factory/R&D-subsidiary/market/language-region/catalog-version/cost-center/sales-subsidiary-including-agents ...?
