     These headlines usually miss the big gap between basic research in a lab that demonstrates a small-scale multiplication in battery capability, and industrial engineering a mass-producible consumer product. Popular science headlines belie the small steps and big distance from consumer end-results. Sorry!

     Awesome, because I called a "fuck tard" by somebody else for promoting scientific thinking, so that comment came in a rather mixed bag of comments on other posts. :-) I wanted to make sure I hadn't missed something from your side.
