@johnnynull I hope that 'evidence' gets published. I would like to see that. I'm glad Hillary lost, I do have some issues with Trump (mainly him putting religious people in important places - risking going away from science in school and all that stuff, pushing religion on kids etc). Other then that I think things in the world would get nasty quickly if Hillary won. I think Trump can do a good job, and this seems to be the way the American people showed the political system that they are tired of Hillary's (and other's) bullshit politics and scams and so on. Time will tell.
@marcus @johnnynull I see what you mean, but still he won, but people act as if its wrong this time because Hillary lost. But the process has been the same the other times a president has been elected..? There is no difference this time then from Bush \ Obama etc.. Or maybe there’s just more 'noise' surrounding this election, I'm not sure.
@stigatle @marcus @johnnynull Almost nobody wanted Hillary but #Trump is worse by almost every metric. The world is heading towards a climate disaster and the US elected a science denyer who breaks the Constitution in two when banning an entire religion, threatening reporters and have massive conflicts of interest while personally enriching himself. He gave appointed rich donors who are gonna lower their taxes, remove regulations on their business and further burden the middle and lower class. I haven't even started to talk about how he emboldens white supremely by _not_ denouncing the friggin Ku Klux Klan.
I hate Hillary's hawkishness and establishment policies but she pales in comparison to Trump
@stigatle I don't see his point in the least. In fact, the whiny lefties were so proud that her gender was almost never brought into the public discussion, but now they're so butthurt and beyond reason that they blame it on sexism. #LeftyLogic
@r7 When about 95% of scientists agrees that climate change exists, is caused by mankind and that we must act now to prevent the planet to become inhabitable; electing Donald #Trump who are not only gonna not do anything to combat climate change the next four years, but rip apart the Paris Agreement and set us back even further then of course I will vote against him. That is a no-brainer and should be for anyone who don't want to see the world turn into a wasteland. https://social.umeahackerspace.se/attachment/120295 #USA #Politics
Sure, but I don't agree that "they didn't give the US anything to vote for". The faults are primarily systemic, not primarily personal, or even faults of the internal DNC culture (though that needs changing as well).
Agitate, Educate, Organise. Meanwhile, defend against fascist attacks, capitalist temptations, and unhelpful narratives like primaries being "stolen" when even the supposed head of the movement, and primary person who would have cause for grudges agrees no substantial stealing went on.
Invade the system. Occupy the parties. Unionize. Unite. Grow and fabricate your stuff locally. Find or found communties where you can pool resources for the greater cause, where you can help each other help each other, and thus help those outside the community too.
Again talking mostly to any americans reading. Us swedes already have healthcare and education at a decent level, though we've got our battles to fight too.
