Drop-in vaccination in Lambohov is open three Thursdays in November. Today is the second of the three.

@clacke @steve If I worked at the main office, I'd have gotten a flu shot last week. I'm just going to stop at a Walgreens between locations.
One year a customer coughed on me while I was fixing his laptop. I was sick for three weeks.

@lnxw48 I think it is funny that a humorous post about my pump.io server downtime became a rallying cry for flu shots. :-) That said, I totally encourage getting the vaccination. I got mine a month ago and I am hoping for, at worst, a mild case of the flu later this season, assuming I can catch it at all now. At the very least, I will protect someone with a more vulnerable immune system that mine from harm. Herd immunity!

@steve On my way now. One colleague: "Oh So you're into that stuff." Yes, yes I am. Then he educated me on upping body pH to fight cancer.
-
Apparently you increase your pH by eating citric acid, decrease it by drinking coffee. Nobel laureate said so.
-
Wow, there was a long queue. Wasn't expecting that. I'll come back next week with better margins in my schedule.
-
@clacke He might as well have educated you about upping the count of Gnomes in your garden to fight cancer, because they are both supported by equal amounts of scientific evidence. ;-)
-
@clacke Ooh look cancer fighting has changed. I was told many moons ago that you needed to drink small amounts of hydrogen peroxide everyday.
-
@steve Indeed.
-
@galoisghost Sounds like the same thing. Otto Warburg observed in early 1900s that some cancers were anaerobic and then just ran with it.
-
@galoisghost He got his causalities backwards, but some people have dug their heels and invented pseudomedicine on top. "More oxygen good".
