I thought xmpp:mmn@hethane.se already worked .)

I'm sorry for being unavailable, hopefully the issue is fixed now! I had enabled debug logging and it filled the harddrive .]
If you have issues with #quitter.es, please primarily notify me (@perro's human alter ego) on xmpp:mmn@hethane.se or mailto:mmn@hethane.se (!xmpp is best for quick notifications, I can sometimes wait a while until I work through my inbox).

Also if there are others who want to administer the site, feel free to suggest yourselves or some organisation (hackerspace/whatever). .)

@bes I don't think auto-checking email addresses for XMPP availability is a very good idea. But integration where the mail and web clients properly parse xmpp:mmn@hethane.se and turn it into a link which my !XMPP cilent can be started with to request authorization or create a new message - that's neat functionality.
(there are privacy reasons why not to auto-check email addresses for XMPP server stuff, but I would rather argue that it shouldn't be done because having an email that's also a JID is by no means a guarantee that the remote party actually uses that account - which would lead to tons of false positive roster entries).

@cwebber Feel free to ping me on xmpp:mmn@hethane.se before the conference call begins. I've got a reminder already but a backup notification is always good.
