   I have a feeling there was a port conflict between me trying to run the jar manually and the jar running as part of Cassandra...at least at some point.
   
   I doubt my process would be very useful for anyone that knows much of anything about Java.
   
   That said, once I have an understanding about what to alert on and if this jmx_exporter has everything we need, there might be a blog at https://www.openlogic.com/blog

   If we have another round of discussion, I can bring it up, but honestly, I highly doubt corporate to go along with free support in the current business client unless it is a trial. We regularly add new applications, so it would be pretty easy.
   
   Supposedly, there is an #openvpn blog coming out directly related to the #covid19 stuff. Would have thought it was out already, but it isn't: https://www.openlogic.com/blog
