@fl0wn @lnxw48a1 There's also weatherusa.net - they're local-ish to me so I may be somewhat biased... The service they provide usually works well enough, and you get one email and one SMS number with the "free" service. It's pretty granular down to the zipcode, although that does depend on what information NOAA feeds them.
I use it, local twitter feeds, and a CAT WX-250 that sits in my network rack and is constantly polled by a !raspberrypi
