Screenshot of text: May I have permission to use Hubble or Webb images for _____? Yes, you already have permission! All Hubble and Webb images are in the public domain. You may use them in any way you want, as long as what you are doing is legal and otherwise permitted. May I print them out? Yes! May I put them on a t-shirt, mug, sticker, backpack, hat, mousepad, greeting card, calendar, shower curtain, or bedspread? Yes, you may put them on all of these, and more! May I use them in a print or digital textbook, or online course? Please do. May I use them in a video, movie, or video game? Absolutely. May I use them for a tattoo design? Go for it! May I publish them on my own website or a website I am building for someone else? Yes. What if I want to sell any of these things to make a profit? You are permitted to do that as well. May I print them out, hang them up, and put them in an exhibit? Sure. What if I am charging admission to the exhibit or the venue? That’s fine, too. These uses are not only permitted, they are encouraged. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for everyone around the world to enjoy space telescope imagery and other data.
