I am on shift again for the # HALO experiment. This means monitoring the data-taking system twice a day, ensuring hardware is running, and verifying the data integrity. It’s been a pretty nominal shift. There were a bunch of “coincidence” neutron bursts (random coincidences in time). No muon spallation events (where one of the two muons per day that pass through HALO cleaves a nucleus to pieces), and certainly no # supernova bursts. Oh, well! Better luck on the last day of shift! https://chirp.cooleysekula.net/attachment/b74112f2f2d1a00cbfbd79f76721494f20ccd99a79fe76a77ebb07897cbb8340/view
