25. Last chance for a good impression. This side chamber contains a modest, humanoid-sized statue of the Chaos God, made of polished black stone. There is a simple message written upon the base of the statue pedestal, in both Elvish and Common: “Compliment me.” If the PCs attempt to make a compliment, judge their answers as follows. If they make a sincere compliment of the Chaos God, or the statue itself, the Dungeon Mood increases by 2. If they make a sarcastic compliment of the statue, the Mood still increases by 1. If they make a sarcastic or very insincere compliment of the god, the Mood decreases by 2 – the Chaos God hates disrespect and suckups. If they instead insult the statue or the god, the Mood decreases by 3. If the Mood increases, the statue appears to subtly smile, while it appears to subtly frown if the Mood decreases.
