9. The Way Forward. The passage north of Room 1 leads to a massive, shining glass portal, that gives off its own light. Written upon it is the following phrase, which will appear to each reader as if written in their native language: The Bell of Savamor will open the way with its dissonant tone But to claim the Bell, one must gain wisdom from the book of Anapho The Book of Anapho lies past darkened passages very far Only illuminated by the Candle of Mal’khar If the complete Bell of Savamor is rung in this room, the glass portal shatters, leaving the room in darkness. If the PCs have no alternative light sources already prepared, they are beset by a pair of Shadows; otherwise, the way is clear for them to pass to the 3rd level.
