Docker containers run through the docker service while podman doesn't have it's own overhead service.
That means two things. Firstly you can manage podman containers directly with systemd. That also means you can run non-root containers(Docker is root only). That is great for security.Secondly, since we use k8s to manage containers, not having some docker service clashing over control we avoid some edge-case bugs and potentional config conflicts.

I mean I already had an automatic backup set up, however the version and commit history proved more useful than I expectedOh and of course, thanks @amolith for hosting the gitea instance making the transition painless

They wanted it to be done over M$ teams
Not ideal but hey they are a big company, HR has weird demands whateverTeams didn't work(who could have guessed) and had to reschedule for tomorrow.
Anyway had a minor breakdown getting the damned thing to work for the last 3h and now I'm realising I don't want to work there anyway if they make stupid decisions like using teams for intwerviews
Am I overreacting by cancelling the interview?
