Coloured perspex/acrylic... I can already see it in my mind's eye - it's going to look rad.

You can see in my totally excessive setup there's a 5mm space from the speaker covers on the rest of the unit. I just need to order in a cut-to-size rectangular bit of plastic to sit on top, or maybe 3 different coloured squares...

Oh no, a new project just invaded my brain. Yoto Players have an LED matrix but it's set behind some frosted plastic which diffuses the light making it less harsh. The IKEA Frekvens LED matrix is far too bright, I'm wondering if I could dismantle them and fit something in front of the LEDs... Or even order in some coloured plastic to sit on the outside.

My in-laws have been exchanging Christmas cards with another couple using the same envelope for over 30 years. It goes one way one year, then back the next.
