    How I use my phone...
    At the moment, I am sitting in the sheep pen and in need of a quick way to determine what the date was 148 days ago.

    If I were at my computer, I would open a terminal and write a scipt to do the task for me, and that's exactly what happened :)

    why bother writing a small shell script to use wget or curl to download a file, when you can write a 300 line python script containing your own specialized file downloader? :/
