@dick_turpin At worst these appeals for judicial review will result in either slaps on the wrist or new legislation suddenly being moved to rein in the judges. Such laws have had to be passed before such as the Colonial Laws Validity Act.

@dick_turpin Many lawyers are being unduly enriched by these desperate people. Aren’t there ethics rules over there to prevent this?

@clacke Hard to do that at my workplace as we have a majority female staff. The only reason people come to me for help is that I’ve repeatedly gotten super-weird cases and disposed of them over the past several years.

@lnxw48a1 Seeing as I've seen the sights today of technical leads and managers just walking away in disgust when they get overloaded with impossible levels of work...that's something you'd never have to worry about in my little bureau.

Then again, we're getting down to dangerously low staffing levels. Eventually we're going to be unable to function. This may happen before the calendar year is out and *that* may cause a beautiful crisis to make the Brexit moaners look petty.
