Tomorrow we're visiting the kindergarten my daughter Emilia (5) is starting at (she starts on Tuesday), so I'm very excited about that, we figured it was good for her to go there a year before school, that way Marlyn and Patrick (3) get's some nice time at home when she's there and I'm at work. The plan is that Marlyn will be a stay at home mom for a good while, she wants that, and I'm fine with that as long as I can keep the money flowing in that we need. (which I've done since we got kids).. :)
We also decided to sell our camper, we've been there for 6 years, and it's costly to have it permanently at the camp site (14500 NOK a year), a solid chunk of money, and we take that out of my vacation money. we've decided to ditch the camping, and use that for traveling instead, discover new places with the kids :) so next year will be exiting.

stig atleGood evening, how are you all doing? Today has been long day, kids are on their way to sleep, that leaves me with some computer time, I'll either play some games, or code a bit, maybe both if I feel like it. Last week of my vacation now, going back to work on Monday. It'll be as busy at work as always, so I have mixed feelings about it.

stig atleTook 6 hours to get a button to do what I wanted today in my c++ 3dsmax plugin, always the simple things that is so damn hard sometimes. The result of 6 hours of frustration is 6 lines of code. But now it works, I have unlocked the secret, was not easy but now I know how to do it, and that feels good. Not even duckduckgo \ stackoverflow could help me today, had to really wrap my brain around this problem to get it solved, makes it feel so good when it finally works.
@falgn0n Same here! I really like it, and especially the way they do portray hacking \ and the technology they use (as real as it gets), they know their stuff.
@pati as mentioned - it's gnusocial.no only that will be taken down, not quitter.no. I first thought both, but then I was he specified it. Quitter.no lives on as usual.
Here the weather is really really bad, so today is spent indoors, currently coding c++ on one of my projects. Later I hope to have some time for some games.
