Apart from Linux Foundation not using Linux, I always wonder why .@Greenpeace .@amnesty or other NGOs do not set up their own GNUsocial or Mastodon instance. Instead they prefer to stay dependent from Facebook and Twitter. They also had the reach, to promote alternative networks.
