To be fair, there are various certifications for nutritionists in many countries, including the US, but these are usually on top of other professional certifications and/or have specific certification naming conventions.

@phessler I will recommend staying away from anything recommended by a "nutritionist" as the word is both unregulated and meaningless, at least in North America. Here, the trained professionals are called "dieticians" or "dietitians" -- it can be spelled either way. Your physician may have one on staff, or can make a consulting recommendation.
