What changed recently is for mysterious reasons putin wasn't content with having yet another one of those, and proceeded to (try to) invade the whole country because muh russian imperium needs to be reborn or something (... and their ideological boi dugin believes it needs to span basically orwell's eurasia, leaving airstrip one to the atlanticist club) -
