Those of you who also are on #twister - do you crosspost with a plugin or do you use a client that supports it? or just 'keep it separated'?..
-
let's meet in irc, !twister or !bitmessage ? and you'll get mine, which brings you into the !cjdns system already, with that you can see everything already. Later you can always add more nodes (better always to add people in the near, ofc)

Ideally, you'd have a client/UI and below it several of the existing technologies (A) for distribution: 1. to make #sniffing on the user a little more difficult, 2. enable users with weak devices to #participate. (A) !bitmessage !twister !freenet ... http://skilledtests.com/wiki/Selfhosting

@vegos 5 weeks passed, any feedback on your !twister article by now?

if you're using !twister, it'd be great when you share some of your traffic stats, thx: http://skilledtests.com/wiki/Twister#bandwidth

"Why I like !twister" http://www.skilledtests.com/wiki/Twister_experience#why_I_like_twister

... in my view the best + easy-to-install system for normal users is still !twister. They can run it from their own device (no need to fear their hoster will look into their data) or elsewhere, and still have their same data everywhere. twister has other ungood things in my view, but hey, it can be forked

I have a dream... !gs on an infrastructure (e.g. like !twister) and hoping the storage keeps in a reasonable size: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/twister-users/cLbO1qHvUBA
-
@hosh so I was thinking: which option one should suggest then? Thinking, if !redmatrix, !twister are better? or a simple, self-programmed tool?

!twister - how to solve the #spam and #DoS using DHT store? https://github.com/miguelfreitas/twister-core/issues/311

well, I am here at !gs mostly due to old friends and my bot. since public things in !twister are public, it doesn't make much difference to gs here (of course the self-hosting aspect is unbeatable). but otoh I also didn't sue !bitmessage that much lately...

I like !twister (1) also: "why I like twister?" (2). (1) http://www.skilledtests.com/wiki/Twister (2) http://www.skilledtests.com/wiki/Twister_experience#why_I_like_twister
