There are three apps except CityMapper for bus schedule information in HK. CityMapper is funded by surveillance.
All three (gov, bus company KMB/LWB, bus company Citybus/NWFB) have deteriorated in usability in the last year. I have no way of saying "I'm at bus stop X, what's my next bus, any bus", everything is search line Y or search point U to point V.
I have looked briefly at the APIs available. It should be possible to write an adapter for https://libranet.de/dev/null#transportr if I can give myself the time.

@grote I'm interested in providing polylines for routes in #Transportr, how should I do that? Recent commit messages don't reveal it despite 2.0.5 release saying "polylines for more networks". .]
I've been mapping and updating the OSM data for public transport v2 in UmeΓ₯, Sweden at least.
I can't join the conversation over on #GitHub.

@tobias It seems you're somewhat involved in #Transportr, am I right? I'm curious how I should provide polylines for routes.

Everyone, go get #Transportr (nΓ©e #Liberario) by @grote. v0.x was good, but v1.x is AWESOME: prettier, no glitches, more functionality.
