The #earthquake was M4.2, revised from M4.4. Pager is green. No loss of life or property expected. No #tsunami. Epicenter near #San_Bernardino, SE from the last one.
#San_Bernardino City Schools back in session despite insane temperatures
Seriously, !SoCal school districts need to wait until temperatures drop before putting kids into under-ventilated classrooms. In many cases, schools are using portables, which have only two temperatures: too hot and too cold.

#NOAA / #NWS alerting for #t-storms in #San_Bernardino County !SoCal. More storms will form and dissipate this afternoon, so monitor local broadcast outlets for local warnings.
The #Inland_Empire counties ( #San_Bernardino and #Riverside ), where I do get alerts, still have #NOAA / #NWS warnings for both wind and rainfall, watches for flash flooding on the coastal side of the mountains.
If you’re in #SoCal, pay attention to where you’re driving.
A big part appears to be based on the idea that most people will commute long distances to each county’s central hospital for their shots. Geographically, SBCo is the largest county in the lower 48 states, larger than some entire states, so that is entirely unreasonable. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Bernardino_County,_California
Both counties have tribal reservations within their territory, but Riverside notes that tribal health groups will receive their vaccines directly from the federal government.
I don’t see “take a truck and set it up in the parking lot of the local park as a mobile vaccination center” or “set up temporary centers in CVS and Walgreens drug stores”.
