Oh, interesting. Both #ActiveMQ and #RabbitMQ support #STOMP. https://funprojects.blog/2020/05/14/stomp-protocol-with-rabbitmq-node-red-and-python/ -

I guess the two main choices are #RabbitMQ or #ActiveMQ. You're looking for something that does #AMQP or are you doing #MQTT? -

"Queues are single-threaded in RabbitMQ, and one queue can handle up to about 50 thousand messages"
um, what the hell does that mean? 50k and it self-destructs? 50k/s 50k/ms? 50k and then it gets so slow as to be useless. I'm a #RabbitMQ n00b, but this makes no sense to me.

I’m thinking that #Disque ( https://github.com/antirez/disque ) may have been a better backend for the #queuedaemons than #Redis or #RabbitMQ ( https://www.rabbitmq.com/stomp.html ), except Disque seems abandoned. -

Starting another try with #rabbitmq on #gnusocialde as it's merged into nightly now. We'll see if sending out notices workes stable now.
