Good morning. I added some more decaf, so I'm drinking about 1/4 regular and 3/4 decaf as part of today's #YoCo ( #yogurt and #coffee ). Going to take an ibuprofen, because I think it's lack of sleep that is causing this headache and I don't think I'll get a chance to sleep until tonight.

Almost finished with today's #YoCo ( #yogurt and #coffee ). Sky looks clear and blue, with a brownish cloud visible behind the nearby hills. Outside temperature is 65°F at 07:55.

Today was #coin_laundry day. Most people had masks, some had uncovered noses. Not as crowded today (I didn’t arrive until 15:00 US-Pacific).
Afterward, I went to the store to buy #yogurt and fizzy water (San Pelligrino) for me and juice, #coffee, and fizzy water for my mom. And to replace my hamper, which was falling apart. I was in four different stores, three of which had very long lines. The final store was #Target, and even though it seemed to have plenty of customers, the lines were fairly short.
Two stores had cashiers with their noses exposed. I’d just use a different line if the option was there, but it is getting to be one or two lines open, even if people are queued almost to the back of the store.
One store sounded their alert to bring more cashiers to the front, but by that time, the line really did stretch nearly to the back of the store.

Finished this morning's #YoCo ( #yogurt and #coffee ). Inspected garden. No tomato hornworms or other destructive caterpillars found. One of the feral cats came by for its breakfast, but didn't seem to like today's salmon & sweet potato flavor.

Saw a praying mantis near the garden today. I left it alone, In the past two days, I've captured four tomato hornworms, including one that was longer and thicker than one of my fingers. Mr or Ms Mantis, your break is over. Get to work.

Good morning and #TZAG, everyone. I'm having my daily #YoCo ( #yogurt and #coffee ). The small ants are aggressively foraging for food, as if they expect Winter to resemble movies, with snow and ice. The large ants seem to be calmer, but both of them are covering a larger area than I've seen before.

We're in a heat wave here, with peaks at or above 100°F / 38°C. I'm just glad not to be somewhere hotter (like Arizona) or hot and humid (like Mississippi). Either way, some cool rain would be welcomed.

I recently bought some #coffee, then realized it wasn't decaf, so I mixed it with the rest of my decaf. I guess I'm back to half-caff for a while.
I thought that maybe the caffeine would prevent that sudden sleepiness that happens when the indoor temperature passes 85F / 29C, but that did not happen.

The newly opened container of #coffee is half-caff, not decaf. I might open another decaf and try mixing them. I don't seem to need caffeine, as long as the indoor temperatures are reasonable.

Good morning and #TZAG! I am almost finished with today's #YoCo ( #yogurt and #coffee ). I captured another tomato hornworm. It was delivered to the larger ants, who dragged it down into their cavern.

Forgot to finish my coffee this morning when I had my #YoCo ( #yogurt and #coffee ).
Saw some fresh evidence of hornworm damage on tomato plants, but I did not find the culprit.
A smaller all-green caterpillar 🐛 has been munching on radishes, turnips, beets. I’ve recently captured a couple of them and dropped them on the entrance to the ants’ home. They are dragged inside within a minute or two, where they are presumably turned into caterpillar burgers 🍔.

Today’s shopping: The supply of TP continues to increase, so I was able to buy two quad-sized 12 roll packs (supposed to be equal to 48 rolls), both name brands.
The #yogurt and #coffee supplies have been sufficient almost all along. I’m drinking decaf now, so when supplies were crimped, there were only a few of the tiny containers left. I’ve been less picky about what flavor of #yoghurt I want to consume, and that makes it easier to keep an adequate supply on hand.
