   I remember seeing some !gs bugs in the bugtracker by you. Were you using the mainline (aka stable) or nightly (aka dev) branch? cc @mmn

     @erkan, @jbfavre was using the master when I pushed it back then. I've gone through the list recently and commented/updated/thought about some of the stuff. I was unable to reproduce at least one of the bugs (none of the Twitter ones for good reason) and I think one of them have been fixed.

     well, I considered the mainline as a stable (e.g. more than the nightly), but you are right, there is no official stable version

     Well, I seem to remember linking the commit that fixed the issues. You can continue using the version that worked for you and apply the simple security fix that was the reason you tried GNU social in the first place.
