     @jezra (an aside, back in the LO days. I met VZ. I called him 'Vee-Zee'. He said, "Its V-Zed"

     He is just Vee-Zee to me. :P)

     As far as I can tell, Mortimer is the only name shorted to Mort.

     @NYbill William > Will/Bill I understand. Henry > Hank, maybe not some much; but like most humans, I'm lazy as fuck and appreciate a single syllable nic-name for a given name.
     
     It blew my mind to learn that some multi-syllable names are not shorted to a single syllable.

     @jezra @theru Nice! I never tried to grow tea!

     In my 20's early 30's I drank a LOT of coffee! But, started getting acid reflux when I slept. Not fun! (basically choking).

     Went through my diet with the doc and it was the coffee that was doing it. (Its very acidic). Its not for me.

     (Was crossing my fingers it wasn't my beers!) ;)

     For what it is worth, camelia sinensis (the tea plant) can be grown indoors, or outside in some growing zones. It is a white flowering camelia... and there are 2 on my deck :D

     @NYbill For the past few years, for similar reasons, I've been conditioning myself to switch to tea by drinking weaker and weaker coffee.
     
     Now I have the excellent gardening challenge of propagating camelias. /me wants to grow a years worth of tea per year. Brewing a years worth of beer is still a challenge :)

     @jezra Looks like I can by a pound of Jezra's Camellia in the future!

     (I buy my current fave 16oz at a time. 4 heaping spoonfuls in ~4 cups water. A little whole milk and 2 tsp sugar. That is in my work thermos.)

     This is key! The tea is ready when I wake up. :D
