Hot take: I think Dave Filoni just setup the “Heir to the Empire” trilogy using the “Ahsoka” series. What once was canon was changed to legend, and once more may be restored to canon. Jorus C’Baoth, the Jedi cloned into the “mad jedi” in the trilogy, tried to explore beyond the galaxy and died in the attempt. Filoni is no fool, and clearly has drawn on this “legends” material to restore it to canon. I hope a season 2 gets made … I am excited to see Thrawn’s strike on the New Republic.
