     @thor Kalle is originally a nickname for Karl but yeah these days it's a name in its own right.
     
     Kalle Halldén (most probably with the accent, but could have lost it too) sounds extremely Swedish, both the first and the last name.

     @CumskinFoidPuncher69420 @clacke i think "kalle" is from "kall" meaning "guy" essentially, so i think for Swedes, it's a very "everyman" sort of name.

     "Donald Duck" is named "Kalle Anka" (where "anka" means duck) in Swedish, for example.

     @CumskinFoidPuncher69420 @clacke there is a town named Halden in Norway. "Hallden" sounds like it might be a similarly named town in Sweden, but don't quote me on that.

     @CumskinFoidPuncher69420 @clacke in Norway, "Kalle" is the name we use for Frosty, the snowman, so it's a fantasy name. in Sweden, guys are actually named that.

     there's this old Norwegian comedy skit where a guy, supposedly from the Norwegian Council on Soups, is named Balle Klorin, and it sounds like a parody of a Swedish name XD
