   really, all you're left with is the concept of in-group and out-group, which is quite a common thing and therefore very normie. it's normie to categorise people as normies and non-normies.

     "normie" is a relative concept. is anyone on fedi even a normie?

     i've seen people do stuff like have deliberately offensive names as a "normie filter", but this is only meaningful if you're even willing to accept that fedi has normies in the first place.

     if you're a weeb, are non-weeb techies normies?

     if you're trans, are cisgender gays normies?

     if you're a techie, are non-techie weebs normies?
