#NOAA / #NWS Winter weather advisory for mountains in #SoCal’s #San_Bernardino and #Riverside counties from 2021-01-19 14:00 PST to 2021-01-20 06:00 PST.
* 2-4 inches of snow above 5500 feet elevation, some locations up to 8 inches; some snow possible down to 3500 feet elevation (which could affect passes)
* Expect restricted visibility and slick roads.
Not included in this advisory, but I’d expect mountain areas in #Los_Angeles and #San_Diego counties to likewise receive snowfall.

Here, it is overcast, 48F / 9C, breezy with gusts. We won’t get snow, but we may get a few drops of rain.

A few drops of rain is an adequate description. There wasn’t even enough to solidly cover the concrete patio in the back yard.
Yes, most of #California, including #SoCal, is in a drought again, according to NOAA. https://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/Drought/
