Going to try to figure out a time to call #sonOne. Looks like the last #videochat was 2020-06-07. I'll also try to call #Daddy_A.

Oldest and youngest aren’t answering. I know the middle son is at work (though he’s possibly changing shifts, with the result that he’ll be off on weekends).
Okay, I’ll play this song that I sometimes sing to #GS3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmZqb2VVc48

Did a search to find out where that scene in the movie "Hair" was filmed. They say it was in or near Barstow. I was guessing SR-138 near Antelope Valley, but I guessed wrong.
I've driven though Barstow a few times and Antelope Valley a few times (always many years after the filming), and I thought the background looks more like AV.

Also surprised to find that the movie "Hair" was released in 1979 ... that's a decade after the play.

Just got a message from #sonOne explaining that he’s currently on double shifts and overnights, so he’s either been at work or asleep when I’ve called.
After all the years that I worked full-time and went to college full-time (and often had a second part-time job), I’m not a fan of such schedules. They really do tear up relationships. I’ve pretty much always worked such schedules whenever the work was available, but “new Walt” says that except for very short-term conditions, once you pass working 60 hours per week, the boss should just hire more people ... the work is obviously available.
