     I have Skype for Business set to always say I'm away. Certain managers hate it because they can't use that to track active work time.

     @lnxw48a1 It is in our union contract at the bureau that attempting tracking like that is a no-no. Our network is so crappy, though, that any attempt would give false positives galore.

     @alpacaherder I guess so. I barely remember Communicator, but it has only been a year or two since $EMPLOYER 'upgraded' MSOffice and getting SfB instead of Lync. Honestly, I think Skype for Business is just a rebrand, meant to leverage the name recognition of real Skype.
