it's not bad, it's just kinda an un-earthshattering HD release. It's not Iris or Palimpsests is all I'm saying. I think the fact that it's only three standard-length tracks and there wasn't a June release at all probably is the main source of disappointment. I did email the guy a few days ago (before the release) and ask if everything was ok since he normally puts out a release every month and he said he's busy moving across the country and there's a lot of releases planned.
#doom, #power, and #progressive all in there, but no metal since the week of June 14. Some sort of #metal is likely to make it back on the charts after this week though. We shall see!
Of course, if we looked at track length, metal would undoubtedly be higher on the list.
Plus, I don't scrobble all the Open Metalcast I listen to while on my bike rides. I found the pausing and skipping around shows to cause things to be scrobbled multiple times, but my rides are longer now. Maybe I could give scrobbling those a shot again...not that that would tell me much about what I was listening to on the shows, but it would increase the metal tag.
