ok, I'll jinx it. I've got some time to work on learning #python. I'm on python 3.7. Anything useful I could get started on? Any tutorials you'd recommend going through?

I know a bit about the async. I doubt I'll be doing anything that will need it. Do you see performance improvements even on rarely used applications?

First off, thanks! that was helpful.
As for what I was asking, here's some background on my comment: I don't have the time to learn enough python to be a dev. I'm definitely on the ops side. I've heard it in context of web apps.
So, my thought was that I'll not be writing any publicly consumed web apps, so I don't know that I'll need it.
It a good point though. Right now I work in version control...so we deal with a lot of network traffic.
I know #p4python didn't barf on 3.7, but I haven't really done anything with it.
