So help me, if themes disappear from Gnome I'm going to have to turn to the shitstorm that is KDE.

@lnxw48a1 I run Xfce on two of my machines. Xfce is transitioning to to GTK3. Cinnamon is fully GTK3, and MATE is mostly if not all GTK3.

@null The critique that it looks like something plastic to appeal to children is spot-on. Agreed that it looks less vomit-inducing when tweaked. I've done this several times. There are additional issues. The "leave no cycles to do actual work" attitude. The "fix it yourself or don't bug us about it" attitude. The shit apps that crash, won't open, can't open their own files, or lose your data.
I've said it before and I still stand by it: If #KDE was the only #Linux DE I'd return to #Windows.

@dielan @lnxw48a1 i3 rocks. Of course it wouldn't solve the "GTK3 no longer having themes" issue.
>Enlightenment is basically the Jojos Bizarre Adventure of Linux DEs
That is a brilliant summation. I like Enlightenment. Been crashtastic for me, though.

@null Yeah, maybe my issue was I took to the KDE forums, which was as helpful as talking to an arrogant wall.
I tried their KOffice thing or whatever and it literally couldn't open a file I made with KOffice two minutes prior. Their PIM thing hosed my shit at least twice. Dolphin is just fine, yeah. And I have always liked Kate.
