     @alpacaherder That's the original antifa as defined in Germany and Sweden. Now people are trying to claim the brand as something nobler.

     @clacke That's a bit of unique derangement in the USA.  They're seeking legitimacy through co-opting US civil rights history.

     @alpacaherder It's a bit of the same in Sweden. Only that in Sweden legitimacy has been creeping up over the last decade as the brand has been expanding, whereas in the US it seems nobody knew about the brand until half a year ago and now everyone left of the Republicans wants to be one. Because who's not against fascists, right?

     @clacke The big question is how to *properly* define fascism.  I checked out an Oxford "Short Introduction" that went into circles trying.
