     Nothing more informative than that. Just some HTML with a hostile Google font resource link and the message "We're sorry, but something went wrong.".

     @thib Yes, it does. Just tried a subscribe and will probably get an error message for this ping too.
     
     Also, Mastodon seems unable to do discovery on mmn@hethane.se (my alias) but not mmn@social.umeahackerspace.se (my real webfinger ID) for some reason. Which means the "remote follow" button doesn't work for the latter - with the same meaningless error message. I'm guessing the issues are related... cc: @gargron

     @gargron That seems to have been spot on! I could subscribe to @thib now without any Salmon errors. When do we see this update on #mastodon.social? (or next release)
