   I finished the final chapter of TBP last night and omg it somehow got worse. 'Unfolding protons'. Downgrading it from 'Greg Egan' to 'Dan Brown Meets Doc E E Smith'. It's Lensmen level of hard SF.

   I'm with the reviewer here who calls it 'Badly Written and Ill Conceived'.

   I'm really, truly sorry. This would be an okay Very First Draft but it's is a very bad novel and I'm sad that it won a Nebula.

     @natecull Thanks, I've heard about its existence but won't put it anywhere near the top of my to-read list then.
