@uraimo @alyx This may be an unpopular opinion, but when developers have very limited memory and CPU power, they do some amazing gymnastics that work very well. I think we've been spoiled by nearly limitless memory and processing power. That's why programs that should run 1000x faster still run slowly because so much of it is wasted for convenience
